Andover Regional Education Foundation
The Andover Regional Education Foundation is an independent, non-profit corporation begun to strengthen community involvement in our schools and provide worthwhile activities, materials and equipment, which support current programs, but are not provided for in the school budget.
The Foundation provides programs and equipment for the children of Andover Regional which, due to budget limitations, they would not otherwise have. Recent contributions have included funding the HEROs literacy program, funding the GEPA prep and After School Homework Club at LPS, the purchase of benches, games, new basketball standards, and an outdoor water fountain at FMB as well as new stage curtains for both schools. Through fundraising and grant applications, we are working to fund our schools creatively.
The Andover Regional Education Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation and New Jersey state registered charity. Deductible contributions to the Foundation will be conserved and used as designated for the benefit of Andover students.
The Foundation meets monthly in the Long Pond library. Meetings start at 7 pm.

Foundation Program Funding Request Form
In an effort to ease the application process and to open opportunities for new ideas from a variety of members of the Andover Regional community, the Andover Regional Education Foundation has created the attached program funding request form.
Instructions for completing the form are attached. Please feel free to contact any member of the Foundation board if you have questions. The Foundation will give special consideration to projects with lasting impact and programs that benefit a large range of students. Examples of some of the programs and equipment that the Foundation has funded in the past include: start up costs for the STRIVE track and field program, funding for the HEROs literacy program and After School Homework Club, stage curtains for FMB and LPS, the construction of the gazebo and memory tree garden at LPS, the rock climbing wall at FMB and the purchase of basketball standards, benches, and playground equipment.
Completed applications can be sent to the Foundation's mailbox at LPS. You are welcome and encouraged to present your ideas at one of our meetings. Please note that applications are accepted at any time for consideration. Due to cash flow limitations, grants may be paid when funds become available. Thank you for participating in our commitment to improve the educational experience of the children of Andover Regional Schools.
