Referral Process
In order for a child to receive special education and related services the child must be assessed and meet the following three criteria:
- The student will have a disability as defined in the code, and
- The disability impacts the student's ability to learn, and
- The student will require special education and related services.
If you feel your child requires special education and related services, you may write a letter, which includes a signature, requesting an evaluation by the Child Study Team, to the Office of Special Services. Please list the student's name, grade, date of birth, specific areas of concern and interventions (if any) that have taken place. Please mail/deliver it to:
